About Me
Hi! I'm Ornela. Nice to meet you. I'm a Full-stack Web developer who specializes in using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Ruby, Rails, etc... to build software solutions for big, middle, and small businesses. Along with that, I build custom web applications from scratch. Before I started working as a developer, I was an online English and French teacher for more than 2 years. I spent every day working with people from different cultures and backgrounds in a stressful and fast-paced environment. That helped me become a pro at creating and maintaining a friendly work environment in order to succeed in the dev world. I've spent the last 4 years working remotely and asynchronously with people from different countries.
I've had the privilege of working at an advertising agency, a start-up, and a huge corporation. Additionally, I had the opportunity to mentor a lot of students.

Netfix Movies
NetFix Movies is a movie application displaying movies from "themoviedb" API. Users have to sign up before accessing the movies. After signing up users have access to movies and TV shows. When a user clicks on a specific movie he/she can see some additional information about the movie.

This website shows the most popular movies from an external API and allows users to comment and make reservations. The webapp has 3 user interfaces.

SpaceX is a website displaying a list of rockets and missions from the SpaceX API. Users can make and cancel reservations. Additionally, users can join and leave missions. All reserved rockets and joined missions are displayed under "My profile".

is an e-commerce website displaying a list of clothing items for men, women, and children. It also display some house furniture. Users can search for specific items using the search bar, add products to the shopping cart, and remove products from the shopping cart.
